“Mater Matter”, “StrAngels at work”& “Deadodance” 2020-2023
My work explores the mystery of life through its materiality.
It stands at the interface between the dead and the living: from the bones, relics I find in nature, grow new bodies; from the earth where everything returns, new entities emerge, eternally.
The forms change but the past information remains embedded and alive in matter.
I proceed intuitively, challenged by the limits of physical laws.
This installation alludes rather than defines, remaining open to the diversity of living forms.
It conveys my urge to touch “inter-being” in unforeseen ways.
It is not my artist’s background but rather the unknown that leads the way.
I seek to listen to the vastness of the present moment and this uncomfortable, unstable situation opens new spaces where one can be transformed.
